Carnes is a beast. He tore apart our defense this year, which is one of the best in the area. Won't play QB though.

Just looking at him, seems like he would be a good CB here. Great athleticism.

Per Greg's blog yesterday, sounds like Claude Davis(DE Lake Gibson/JuC) is planning to Graduate in December and be a BULL ... had a great season !

I'll say

Davis was even more impressive statistically, with 87 tackles and team highs in tackles for loss (15) and sacks (7.5), with three forced fumbles, three fumbles recovered and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown. Davis, a former teammate of Matt Grothe's at Lakeland's Lake Gibson High, will come to USF in December with two years of eligibility.

Although talented underclassmen Brion Carnes is committed to South Florida he's also keeping one eye on the rest of the country as interest continues to pour in for the talented back. This weekend Carnes took a trip over to Tallahassee in checking in with the Florida State Seminoles. The rising junior broke down his visit to FSU, talked about how firm his commitment is with the Bulls, and why competition is a fueling point of his development as a quarterback, and why losing is not.

Rhoades mentioned another familiar name he expects to be at USF a year from now: Offensive lineman Justin Green, who committed to the Bulls a year ago but was not accepted by USF's academic committee. Green redshirted this past fall at Hutchinson, and Rhoades said he'll play this fall and should complete his associate of arts degree in time to sign with USF in 2010 and join the Bulls with three years of eligibility.
