Couldn't get the link to work... but I'm sure I could imagine what Leavitt said. I figured by now exbull21, you'd be tired of hearing Leavitt speak... missing the action? You're not that old yet. Heck, by the time you're my age (or maybe a couple years after), your little ones will be ready to play... although I can't remember if you had little cheerleaders or little ballers... hopefully little ballers for USF's sake... especially with the blood line.

Would not agree with that.  It sucked.  If every interview Matt gave were like that, he would need to stop talking to the media. 

They need to coach the guys a bit on giving interviews.

He just doesn't like the media. I've seen him talking to recruits and he's fired up as can be and has a lot of good things to say. Whenever he's in front of a camera though it's like he's giving a euology, especially when he was talking about how any team can lose at any time.

He's an extremely personal kinda person... he doesn't like being spotlighted.

Wow...man watching that I get a better understanding of how hard it is to interview this guy!  **** can't he lighten up a little bit and at least sound excited be to talking about USF football.  I love him as a coach but he really needs some work on his PR skills.  ;D

it was terrible

you need to see how some althletes handle media

watch a mark sanchez interview and you will see the difference

one program emphasizes communication with media and one doesnt

leavitt seemed more excited to talk about other football programs than usf.  He sounds like a 15 year old boy afraid to admit he is dating his new girlfriend in that interview.  The act is getting old and tired. There is no one outside of the box who is not a usf fan would want to root for usf for their head coaches charisma after that crap. 

but i guess we all now what we have, i just wish he had a little more swagger
