I'm not going to argue that our offense is predictable and struggling. I just am not sure that running the I 10 times a game is going to make any difference. We'd probably have 3 plays from it with tipoffs for defenses to read what we're doing.

Matt didn't seem to have any protection last night and oc made no changes to protect him

well on every damm 3rd down they blitzed and no adjustments were made to leave a blocker...it seemed anytime USF went empty backfield PITT blitzed...no route adjustments were made..no blocker was put back there..and every time they blitzed the middle of the field was wide open but I didnt see a crossing route ever ran in that situation...NOW I expect to see some new things seeing how the BULLS have 15 days before their next game. Also by then everybody should be healthy and ready for the stretch run

Agree 100%. I didn't understand why adjustments weren't made. They were blitzing on every third down and we should've known that after watching the NC state game they weren't going to let MG pick them apart.

Our goal for the rest of year on offense should be to learn how beat blitzing teams; the shovel pass is one easy way to do that.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
