3 way tie in Big East... who gets the BCS bid?

thinking about the Big East race after the loss last night...

let's say USF finishes strong and wins all its remaining games this year to go 11-1, 6-1 in BEast play.

UConn loses to us, but wins all its other games-- including Pitt-- to go 11-1, 6-1 in BEast play.

Pitt wins all its remaining games except UConn, to go 10-2, 6-1 in BEast play.

USF wins the tie-breaker with UConn, but UConn wins the tie breaker with Pitt, which wins the tie-breaker with us.

who gets the BCS bowl bid?

all depends on who is ranked higher...remember there is still 6....yes 6 more games to play before anything is decided...any thing can and will happen

We lost our first conference game of the year. We're going to lose another.

2 losses in the conference won't win the conference. It could because the conference sucks, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I'd be happy with a 10-2 year though.

Guys, read his post, he clearly explained the scenario.

In a 3-way or greater tie, the highest ranked gets the BCS bid. And in his scenario, USF would definitely be ranked the highest and get the bid.

I do not, however, believe his scenario will become reality

Yeah!  And no one thought we would lose to PITT either. lol

I'll take my chances with scenarios like this.

Or hell...an all out BIG EAST Championship.
