It appears that with the continued success of Bulls Football our community has been over-run with lurkers.  You know the type.  They're curious, but they're not completely sure they belong.  They come here and read, read, read.  Sometimes they think about what they read and comment to a spouse or buddy.  But they never contribute to the community by voicing their opinions here.  They just read, read, read, lurk, lurk, lurk. 

Once, every so often, we invite our lurkers to exit the shadows and join our community - no questions asked.  No background checks, no questioning of your fanhood.  We won't even require an immediate comment.  We simply want you in our community and not out on the periphery feeling as though you might not fit in, or maybe don't belong.  You do.

I am a former lurker, and I can attest that through Bulliever's tried-and-true Lurker Mitigation program, I'm now a changed man!  Heck, I'm so involved in the Bullspen now, I even change my screen name once per week during football season!

And that is why I am also the Associate Vice Provost of Cross-Cultural Inclusion.  It is my job to make sure we homogenize all types into our community, including those that have a fascination with 'spanking', whether it me at the hands of a purple dinosaur or a bearded old man.  It takes a lot to make it work, but we're glad you joined us (latest poll indicates I am not alone, there was one other member that expressed his glee at your membership).

I renounced my lurkerhood just this past week, and it is great.  Now I am off the crack and addicted the posting.  I do not know nothing about any money laundering.

You know...I never really thought about the connection there between, "The Picture" and the purple guy in my signature.

That's even stranger.  I guess it shows that I don't spend enough time on my analysis.  I was ready to give you the benefit of the doubt that Barney somehow had some deviant effect on you...but it's purple hippos and red-bearded Glazers.  there's got to be something there.  Hmmm....  We may need to re-do that poll now.
