What a joke.  It doesn't look like there are over 25K there.

who cares about attendance

it is performance on field that counts

Well ... they fail on both today.

I saw a shot of the crowd right after that unc db picked it off to win the game. Priceless!

There was a guy standing behind the endzone that looked he got shot in the face the way he went down after the pick.

UNC is a pretty good team.  I want to see Miami and UNC as they go throughout the conference schedules.

I thought Yates showed alot of toughness when they played us last year...Sexton did a decent job...but when they get that kid back they'll be rolling for real.

Which means they'll be even better next year .... we'll have our hands full.

Agree 100%

Probably doesn't help that Dolphins Stadium is 20-25 miles away from the Miami campus. That would be like if USF played its home games in Lakeland.

But also... even if that place was full, it seems wrong for the Canes not to be playing in the Orange Bowl, doesn't it?

Yes the fans did not fill the stadium, they rarely do it gets better later in the season.  I was a season ticket holder from 1967 through 1984.  I have seen the crowd as low as 12,000 and some (Tulane)but I have been there when it was totally packed.  What you have to understand in Miami is the school is a very small school with not all that  many alumni in the area.  Second, there is so much to do there on week-ends the game just happens to be one of them.  Third, the more they win the more fans come to the games, that is just the way it is there.  Next year the Marlins will be their last at that stadium so no more dirt infield.  In Miami, YOU WIN, YOU WIN AT THE BOX OFFICE.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
