Really its just one question with five answers.  Top five football players in USF's history.

My Top Five

1.  M. Grothe-has led the Bulls to historic victories of Auburn, Kansas, and Wva

2.  M. Blackwell-led the Bulls to a 9-2 season with a historic victories over Pitt on the road and a ranked Bowling Green at home.

3.  K. Mitchell-a beast on defense and USF's first major impact player on D.

4.  G. Selvie-1st All-American

5.  This one is difficult, hhmm, H. Whitaker or T. Royal or A. Hall or J.R. Reed-my pick is Andre Hall great person and running back that kept USF competitive in their bleak years of QBs.

*Honorable mention will go to Brian Fischer.  Although his personal life was/is a mess, the time he was at USF he was AWESOME!!!!  Mutt used to say he could throw the ball to himself, catch it, run it in for a TD, and sit in the stands and cheer for himself because he was so versatile.

1. Matt G. - purely from a butts in seats perspective

2. Mike Jenkins - come on...a first draft pick and some of you don't list him???  What's up with that?

3. George Selvie - most explosive, athletic player ever.  Likely to move up to #1 above

4. Bill Grammatica - gawd how I miss Billy G.'s automatic-ness

5. Kawicka Mitchell - go watch the Oklahoma game again.  Incredible.

6. All 13 OBs Original Bulls - these dudes played in the trailer/Sombrero days.  Loyalty defined.

Special category - Marquel = hope - see the first Pitt game 2001.  Wow.
