If we can stop Dixon, we will force Lorrenzo to throw and he throw 3 interceptions and made some other bad decisons.  I hope that is the team that shows up against us.  But for some reason, when they play us they raise their game level a lot.

Uconn looked about what i expected.  They're a solid group with solid athletes at every position but they really lack any meaningful explosiveness where it matters.  Their receivers are not gamebreakers, even their RB's, especially Brown, he's nifty with the ball, but he lacks that extra gear, or move to take a 6-10 yard gain and turn it big.  There were a few times that he was one cut away or one acceleration away from taking a 6-8 yard run and taking it to the house.

On defense the only real big time player is that Lutrus kid.  Man he's a real specimen and is all over the **** field.  He's the LB that took grothe's INT in for a TD.  Him aside they're not spectacular on defense.  At home they're easily beatable, for some reason in Uconn's stadium we are jinxed, but in Tampa they're fair game.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
