This was a big sticking point for alot of us after last week.  It would seem the coaches were on it.  We ran the ball a lot more and that helped Julmiste, who finally looked good out there.

Now, the negatives.  Turnovers and penalties.  That's what made us almost lose this game.  Without turnovers and penalties, this wouldnt have been even NEAR OT.  Good overall team effort.  Let's get 3-1 next week baby!

playcalling was good tonight... would have liked to see some more playaction with all our runs, but liked the slants and screens to offset the blitz

Julmiste was limited by his knee, so playaction wasn't feasible.  Just listening to Leavitt on the radio.  He said PJ's knee limited the plays they could run.

The offense made a lot of great adjustments. I saw motion, running inside and out, some play action, screen passes and receivers running routes in the middle of the field.

Overall, the staff made great use of our athletes.

More of the same next week please

True but, I still can't understand them actually calling for PJ to run (ie, that option play where he just went down on his own) on a few occasions considering his bad knee?

Me neither, i only remember them calling him to run once.  I was hoping it was a QB-choice option that Julmiste unwisely kept, but it didnt look that way to me.

on the post game, leavitt said they could only call plays to go "one way" or to "one side" because of his knee....
