It's a 7 part HBO mini series about Marines in Iraq from the writers behind the wire.  Anyone else watch the premier tonight? I thought it was excellent and has already earned a spot on the DVR.  The dude who played Ziggy on the wire did a bang up job.

Yeah, I set the dvr to record the whole series before it even came on.  First episode was real good.  I think it's created by David Simon of The Wire and Ed Burns.

Did anyone watch "Over There" when it was on fX?  That was a good show.

The Wire was top-notch.  I wish I could've seen this one.  I miss HBO =/

I too enjoyed Over There but i already like this much better.

Yeah, I liked Over There a lot.  I wish it would have come back for a second season at least.  But HBO's version is gonna be better cause they can get away with everything FX can't.

Currently visiting my parents who dont have hbo so ill have to wait till i get back home to watch tonights episode on my DVR.
