Not too surprising. Hope he catches on somewhere else.

He needs to catch the ball in order to catch on.

Amarri has one thing that u can't coach--- size.

he can work on the other stuff.  i don't know if i see him making any active NFL rosters or seeing PT any time soon, but i believe he has the potential to have a career playing pro ball in some capacity, some where.

Amari had a few good moments but overall it was his lack of ball control (fumble and drops) that got him passed over.

if these losers would get rid of simms and let him continue his career maybe they could keep another player that might make a difference

I was waiting to see when this string would disolve into a "Mean 'Ol Bucs" debate...looks like the first shot has been fired!

Exactly.

Huey Whittaker, another very tall USF WR, didn't have the best of hands either, and he's STILL playing professional football. In fact, he scored a TD yesterday to help get his arena football team, the Utah Blaze, into the playoffs:

For the first time since May 18, 2007 (Utah vs. Las Vegas) the Blaze held their opponent scoreless in the first quarter. Utah entered the second quarter on top 14-0 with their two touchdowns strikes coming from Blaze QB JOE GERMAINE (6-2, 238, Ohio State) to WR JJ MCKELVEY (6-3, 227, Clemson) and WR HUEY WHITTAKER (6-5, 228, South Florida).

I hope Amari catches on somewhere.
