I'd have more respect for the BE if it had 12members and could have a championship like the ACC, SEC and Big 12. That's what makes those divisions more respectable and tougher. The BE doesn't have a BCS champion from the current line-up of teams (I don't count Miami's championship for the BE cause that was a different league back then)

If Pitt would NOT have beaten WV back in December, I guarantee everyone's look on the BE would be completely different. The BE needs a team to come out, beat the snot out of their conference (go undefeated, or if they lose 1, it better be to the #2 team) crush their out of conference foes, and dominate their bowl game. No one's accomplished all 3 of those in 1 year, once it happens, the BE will be a bigger threat.

We're probably deeper than the Big Ten.  They are strait up soft.

I still would say it's SEC, PAC 10, Big 12, Big East, Big 10(+1), then the ACC

I don't know how many NCs Ohio state needs to get blown out of to prove the Big Ten is garbage, but I've seen enough.  The Illinois USC game didn't lend them any credence either.
