Baseball is really the only sport where UCF has a decent record against us.  I think its something like 51-49 in favor of USF alltime.

If our baseball program hadn't been on cruise control for so long, I bet that record would look different.

They have a good program and have for a long time.

The stadium expansion is a rumor at this point with the rumor going like this:  Brevard Manatees (minor league club) wants to move to Orlando and would contribute to the expansion/upgrading of Jay Bergman stadium (8-10 mil) and move their operations there.  Benefits are obvious, biggest concern is scheduling conflicts.  The rumor includes that this would happen immediately following the season, so true or false, at least we'll find out soon.  As you can imagine, those of us who actually support/follow baseball have had a hard time sitting on this.

For those of you who can make it, safe travel and follow SixtySix's advice about getting there early.  I-4 + 408 is hectic at that time.  There is free parking right near the stadium (shortest distance from free parking to venue of any sport) which is right off Orion (behind the football scoreboard).

Tailgating has taken off for baseball this year, so you'll probably see some people out there.  Beer is technically prohibited, but I didn't see anyone get in trouble.  Also, ECU brought some fans there and they didn't have a problem either.  Baseball crowds are tamer than football - though beer would, as always, be the x-factor in that category.
