First off... Bill Walker is not from Huntington, WV. He's from Cincy. I think you were thinking of Partrick Patterson who played with Mayo at Huntington and went to Kentucky.

Nope.

Mayo and Walker are both from Huntington...and both originally started out at Rose Hill Christian (Private School) in nearby Ashland, KY.

Mayo, Walker and another AAU Teammate from Indianapolis all transferred to North College Hill HS outside of Cincinnati.

After winning 2 state titles in OH...Mayo transfered back home to Huntington HS for his Senior season...as Walker was "ineligible" to play in OH in 2006-2007 season...and that's why Walker was able to enroll at KSU with Huggins in mid Dec 2006 after Walker earned enough HS credit to graduate HS.
