And in their segment on the Green Bay Packers, they said they expect the Pack to take Jenkins with their first round pick.

Man, he has really slid down the board.

Waay too early to tell. These mock drafts are really volatile...but I do know this: Jenkins has consistently been on the radar as a solid 1st round talent since the beginning of last year. That carries some weight in the days leading up to the draft because no team wants to draft the next "Mike Mamula" based on just pro days and combine numbers. I think in the days leading up to the draft, you'll see him projected anywhere from 10 to 20..where he'll actually land. Keep in mind that in year's past there has always been a "run" on Db's and Wr's towards the middle of the round where they just fly off the board...this year should be no different.

Interesting response.

I have it on pretty good authority that the original poster, Da Bulls, is a New England native and closet Boston College fan.  I, on the other hand, am a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and, to this point, had been sure that no one would ever again in my life again mention the name of Boston College failure (and Philly draft pick) Mike Mamula.

And then - not only do you mention him - you do so while discussing Mike Jenkins....  WAAAAHHHHHH :cry2....

I don't care where in the first round Jenkins gets drafted, as long as its in the first round, he will be the highest ever draft pick for USF and will be USF's first ever first round pick, which looks really good on the school.

P.S.  As long as he is not drafted by the Jets, Pats and Buc's I'll be happy.

Considering the legacy with the Packers, I am proud that they are showing interest in Jenkins. My mother called me from Wisconsin a few weeks ago when she was having lunch with some other large donors and found out about their interest.

GO Pack GO!!! Go Jenkins GO!!!

Hopefully he'll slip to last in the first round.  Go Big Blue!  :D

I actually agree with Andy. Is the world coming to an end?

Well, I would be happy for the Packers to take Jenkins. He is in **** good company with Charles Woodson, that would make them one heck of a duo.

that the packers are expected to take him in the first round doesn't mean some other team will scoop him up ahead of them or even require them to trade to move up in the draft. Why is a team wanting Jenkins a bad thing exactly?
