I watched this kid play againsnt durant, he did not look that impressive to me, hes rather small for a division 1 athlete.

He was at the 2007 USF Sling & Shoot, so our coaches got a good look at him.

I'm not sure what the story is with him.

A 1 star, barely 160 pounds. I think somehow we will make it without him

What about the kick returner from UFlorida. He is like 5'4'' and 160 lbs (I thinK) he had a tremendous impact for Florida. Why not this guy as a "walk-on" and see if he could prove his worth and possibly earn a scholarship.

If the staff looked at him and did not offer then I doubt he would have helped us.  The staff has historically been willing to go afer kids regardless of if anyone else recruited them or how many stars they have as they did this year (Andreas Shields).  The fact that this kid has no offers and we did not offer tells me he is not a D1 prospect or his grades are absolutely atrocious.
