I woke up this morning and decided to hitch a bus across town to check out the Sun Bowl. When I got there I climbed up one of the surrounding mountains and snapped some pictures. The pics don't do this breathtaking view justice. When I get back to Tampa all make a panoramic photo of the view from up there.

There were people down there setting up the field. It looks great! I can't wait for the game!

Thanks for the pics.  Love to see the South Florida in the End Zone.  Too bad they did not use the USF logo.

Fans Have Opportunity To Bowl With Oregon, USF Players

EL PASO, Texas (December 21, 2007) - Fans have the opportunity to meet and spend an evening bowling with players from the University of Oregon and the University of South Florida on Saturday, Dec. 29 at the inaugural Kiwanis Bowl Before The Bowl.

"We are excited to add Kiwanis Bowl Before the Bowl to the list of events of the Brut Sun Bowl," said Bernie Olivas, executive director of the Sun Bowl Association. "This gives El Pasoans the opportunity to meet the players and help give back to the community."

The Kiwanis Bowl Before the Bowl will be held at the Oasis Bowling Center, located at 1660 N. Zaragosa. Registration is limited to the first 40 teams.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Kamp Kiwanis and several local non-profits that serve our community. For more information or to register, please contact Nancy Peters at (915) 252-6404.

I would like to go, but unfortunately im ridin' solo here in el paso and it mentions that you need teams. :(

Im headin out to hineys to watch the rest of the pats game and the ufc in a lil. Went to juarez and got a liter of smirnoff vodka for 11 bucks.

Dont get a taxi ride from gilbert thou....
