Don't be surprised if Terry Bowden doesn't end up as the new WV coach. He is a former alum and he quit his radio gig. He stated at the time he got the itch to coach again after Rod flirted with Ala and he thought there would be an opening then.

What does Michigan think is gonna happen?  If you are on a coaching search the only thing you want is a coach that can beat the rival.  And what do they do?  Hire a coach that can't beat 4-7 Pitt in the vaunted "Backyard Brawl"

look for more of the same against Ohio State.

This pairing looks as bad as Michigan and Bill Callahan.  I don't see a successful michigan with Rodriguez.

But who cares.  Michigan and the Big 10 sucks anyways

Michigan's current slate of players will not fit into the spread option...

Does anyone else find it ironic that Michigan brought in a coach who uses the very same system employed by App State and Oregon - the first two bad losses this year?

Oh... but a variation of the spread option at Illinois was able to beat Ohio State -- so I can see some of the appeal.

Of course Terry Bowden was practically begging for the UCLA job last Thursday on Tony Bruno's radio show.

He'll have a change of heart soon...  IMO, he's the next WVU coach.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
