I was really shocked to see this looking at Gators stats for the season.

11 different guys ran the ball this season - where did Tebow rank in yards per carry?  10th on the team!

The supposedly ineffective running back would have easily reached 1000 yards with the number of carries Tebow had.

He is a great player but people are really blowing this guy out of proportion.

Grothe's rushing stats are arguably better than Tebow.

I have to give him credit for the touchdowns - he does get the ball in the endzone.

If Grothe is so good compared to Tebow, how come he didn't get any Heisman votes and was ranked 4th best QB in the Big East by CFN?

Seriously, don't kid yourselves.  Grothe may be good, but Tebow is a whole different level.

I think Tebow can throw better. Rushing? I doubt.

Tebow is strong and can fight off a lot of tackles, but Grothe doesn't have all that muscle and allows him to be more slippery and fast.

12 of his 22 rushing touchdowns (can't quite remember if it was 22 or not) were 3 yards or less. But, don't get me wrong, 6 points is 6 points.

Seriously, don't kid yourselves.  Grothe may be good, but Tebow is a whole different level.

Reading comprehension - I said Grothe's rushing stats are arguably better than Tebow's.  He has pretty much the same yardage on less carries. . . .nothing less, nothing more.  I don't think Grothe is close to being the player Tebow is overall.

Tebow has a conference championship...a national championship...a heisman. The only dream that he has left to accomplish is beating Auburn...never done that.  8)
