Great idea, but if the numbers are too outrageous, don't you think they'll just dismiss it as a few overly-enthusiastic fans running up the voting?  Oh, I voted and got most of the office to vote too.

But i would think they would want the fan base that is willing to do just that over the fans that just don't care at all.  They might not weigh it highly.... but they'll notice, and that is all that matters with these polls, just one more thing to take notice of.  Its not like this is the only thing they are looking at... probably only 1% of it.

someone must have figured out how to octuple vote or something (is that a word?)

I have it figured out but I am at work and don't want to raise any flags about my huge web traffic. I'll put in a bunch of votes every now and then but i'm refraining from blowing things up too bad.
