Could they have picked a worse year to go 5-7? CJL and everyone who recruits there from out of state have to be rubbing their hands together knowing the chances of getting "their guys" have never been better.

I love it.

There really is no question as to who is the "U" in Florida.

with a year like this, subtract fsu and miami and add usf.... the big three is now the big two

Don't put limitations on our program.  No more of that Big 3 talk.  We need to be a national player not just a statewide player in football.

by the way when the big three lived up to the name they were all national powers.

I wonder if Randy Shannon was the right choice. They have a really good recruiting class lined up, so let's see how the next few years play out. I think they may be in better shape than FSU just b/c they will always be in probably the best area in the nation for football talent(south florida).

The problem is that their recruiting classes are going to get top-heavy. Sure they may still get a few five-star recruits. But they're not going to get nearly as many of the mid-level guys because schools like USF are going to pull them in. If their blue-chippers don't pan out they're going to be in a world of hurt.
