Okay. The Harris and Coaches polls are out.

Last week USF was .025 ahead of Cincinnati.

The coaches increased the gap in their poll between Cincy and USF by .009, which translates to a .003 edge to Cincy in the BCS.

That puts USF ahead by .022.

The Harris voters increased the gap in their poll between Cincy and USF by .072, which translates to a .024 edge to Cincy in the BCS.

That puts Cincy ahead by .002.

This leaves the computer polls.

Sagarin, the only one out yet, kept USF at 17 and dropped Cincy to 23, assuming that Sagarin counts for both teams (i.e. not the highest or lowest), that would be an edge for USF of .02 in the computer average and .007 in the BCS.

That puts USF ahead by .005.

.005 is a .02 points in the computer average.  That means in the other five polls, Cincy needs to gain on USF by two places to move ahead of USF.

preception is tough,

we are getting no credit in the human polls for our body of work. (WVU/AUB, #2 early in the season)

just the loss to cincy counts. (must add they beat us last year as well)
