WAKE UP PEOPLE.............RANKING INSIDE OF THE CONFERENCE DOES NOT MATTER FOR BOWL GAMESI N THE BIG EAST. The sun bowl committee said it would take the next highest ranked big east team. If you pay attention. We appeal much more than any other team. Our offense is scoring now. Something thats important. A great qb......A defense boasting the nations season leader for 10 games in sacks and tackles for loss. Two first day corners, and linebacker. A team who beat wvu...who beat auburn...who..was ranked as high as number 2....who has the record for espn with two games with the highest ratings. People we have a shot,stop saying we dont.

Yeah, it's pretty much two days there and two days back... so it's a five-day vacation without a lot to see.

Believe it or not, the drive across Texas is about HALF of the distance.

as far as the total number of fans traveling...i dont think it will be that much different regardless of which bowl we end up it.  some people wont go to el paso cause of the distance, some wont go to charlotte because of the date of the game, some wont go to pizza cause we were there last year and the weak opponet.

so all those things considered id rather go to the best bowl available which would be the el paso Sun Bowl.

Depends what you are into....

Tons of outdoor opportunities such as Carlsbad Caverns National Park & White Sands NAtional Monument are nearby...

Ski Apache is a couple hours drive if you want to hit the slopes. The resort is run by an Indian tribe so if you are into gambling there is a large casino.

Well, if you're driving from Tampa to El Paso and back, there isn't any time to play tourist...

I was referring how the drive on I-10 will be rather boring.
