These two bowls need to get together and swtich the MAC and BE  affiliations.  If you ask why, just because I want 'em to.  Plus the BE opponent should play the better CUSA team.  Plus I think it makes sense for both the MAC & CUSA champs to play ea. other as the WAC & MWC should bar BCS bowl participants.  I understand why the Liberty wants a SEC affiliate in TN.

Whew! For a minute there I thought it was some frivolous, off the cuff reason.

I'll get on the horn with those guys on Monday, see if we can't square this away.

In other words, you don't want those non-BCS card-carrrying members allowed

access to the executive suite, in the event we have to attend a bowl, which is

arguably, beneath our dignity.  :-*

Not a bad idea BullDoug, as the #2 CUSA pick goes to the GMAC Bowl and the #3 CUSA pick goes to the Pizza Bowl.
