Carl Franks responds to questions on Mike Ford!

Alan Dell

USFBullsEYE.com

The USF coaching staff has been questioned and criticized in some quarters on why it took so long to make running back Mike Ford an integral part of the offense. Running backs coach Carl Franks, who probably knows Ford better than anyone on the staff, answers some of the questions:

From Rivals.com. Anyone a member that can fill us in on those answers he has for us?

just basically says its taken him this long to become our feature back because hes had to learn the offense, how defenses react to our offense, run and pass blocking etc.  says he needs to get a lot stronger, and after a year in the weightroom he should be able to wear defenses down.  says weve only scratched the surface with mike.

Yeah ... would be like depending on a WR/KR from a NAIA school in Lake Wales.

Who doesn't like Ford? He's done good things but he's not a Bulls God... Yet.

He's still a young Bull and is developing.  Expect next year to see a Mack excuse me....FORD truck running over the opposition.
