With Pitt being one dimensional - no passing game - they should struggle to score on USF's D.  Therefore, it comes down to ball security and turnovers in the cold weather.  If USF doesn't turn it over, they should win.  A conservative, run-heavy game plan from USF would suit me fine.  Control the ball, and grind out a 24-6 win and come home 9-3.

West Virginia is the only Big East team with a statistically better D.

Very good pass defense!  Mike Ford has his work cut out for him.  And if the playing surface sux, then this game could be ugly.

usf should roll over these guys

i don't know about beating them "easily," considering the possible field conditions, temperature, etc.

but having Walt and TJ back, and two big confidence boosting wins should give us some swagger...

the guys need to realize that this game is for a quality bowl game, and essentially for our season...  a win and we could be going to El Paso to play for our first ever 10-win season.  a loss and we'll most likely end up in B'Ham again (or Toronto) to play a garbage mid-major opponent just to match our record from last season.

IMO, this is the biggest game of the season.

why would field conditons and weather hinder bulls?

arent bulls better team?
