I say for home games against Pitt and WVU attendance may be up, but as for the rest I see us staying in the 30 to 35 thousand range

Don't forget about games against the Cuse and the Ville, they should also draw well.

I bought season tickets for the first time for 2004 expecting attendance to increase.  No more walking up the day of the game, ordering by ticketmaster, sneaking off during work hours to the Sun Dome to buy a ticket or (my favorite) bumming from my employer when the corporate office had extra comp tickets.    8)

Myself and the nasty "gaytor" fans I work with all seem to think that USF will see a boost in attendance with the move to the Big East!  Now, if we can only get the local media (newspapers) to do a better job,  The Ledger, being the worst offender!

Almost all the opponents in the Big East are "marquee", whereas in C-USA only a few were. Crowds like we had for Louisville will be more common because opponents like Louisville will be more common. I don't think we'll go through the roof, but we'll see fewer low-20s figures for conference games.

The attendance affect will be more pronounced in basketball. I think we will see a huge increase in interest in that sport. In CUSA, only Memphis, Cincy and UofL qualified as big draws, and most of those we only played at home every other year. In the NBE pretty much every game is a "name" opponent.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
