But as I was burning the UL game to DVD, I was reminded how we "fumbled forward" the ball on the opening kickoff.  Nate Allen recovered for TD.  We certainly must practice that type of "illegal touching"...but why wasn't it called?

Really? Very interesting. Maybe the Big East refs have had some meetings behind closed doors.

not true Brad.  we all know that the only way a Ball can move in the same direction that it was originally moving is if it was illegally thrown in that direction.  come on that is Ref 101

Not sure it mattered but the same guy that propelled the ball ended up picking it up.
