1.  I can't believe there is only 1 regular season game left.  Seems like just yesterday we were playing Elon.  This season has gone by too too fast.

2.  If somehow LSU and Kansas and Missouri lose, it would be interesting to see Ohio State vs WV in the national championship.  Ohio State looked so slow against UF last year, WV has so much speed.  Brings me to #3.

3.  I know this boards spends a lot of time questioning the offensive play calls.  But, I have to give a lot of credit to our defensive staff and defense.  We shut down WV's running attack (3rd best in the nation in rushing yards per game) and Louisville's passing attack (4th in the nation in passing yards per game) and held Kevin Smith (2nd in the nation in rushing yards) to 55 yards.  Amazing defensive play.

The Defense has rarely been the problem the year.  Look at the 3 losses, UConn scored on INT, so the D only gave up 15.  RU was where the Special Teams really let us down as well.  And Cincinnati scored a TD on Special Teams and a fumble return.  Not to mention all of the other turnovers that set up points.  They didn't play great against the Bearcats but well enough to win.

Yes the defense played good against Louisville but the fact that the offense could actually move the ball kept Louisville off the field longer.
