Skilled positions coming back next year on O:

WR-  Bogan, Mitchell, Hester, Johnson, Love, Alcin, Sherman, Edwards

RB-  Ford, Taylor, Plancher, B. Williams, Samuels

TE-  Ced. Hill, Busbee, Okolie, Ketchel

QB-  Grothe, Gregory

Looking good on O.  We might need to average 36+ next year, with our defense losing some players, but I like our chances.

I would expect at least two of the guys on your list to be gone next year.

??

Inside info?

I would hope that it is none of the bolded players. Of those, as long as Ford work in the classroom, the only one I could see leaving is possibly Taylor. I don't know where he would go, but he had a scholarship at Bama and left to come and be used sparingly (even more sparingly in the last two games), and it seems as though Ford is going to be the guy at RB.

I am very excited about our offense. I think we finish this season strong, and in the next two years, we are going to be hard to beat. I could easily see Ford leaving with Grothe after the 2009 season (Ford may leave after next season, but hopefully not), but otherwise, we are looking solid.

I agree with the excitement on the offensive side of the ball.

I would have to say last years team was the best team we have ever had (prior to this year)

The 2002 was good for it's time but didn't come close to playing the schedule we did last year. No conf affiliation also makes a schedule easier. Look at all the #2 teams that fell this season...they were all to conf foes that were unranked

I don't think the 200e team goes on the road and beats the 2006 wvu team

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
