No matter how you slice it we are very deep at almost all positions.  The talent present (though undeveloped/underdeveloped) is still quite good (9 our of 10 scale).  When players go out (like Dile amongst others) junior players step right in, and with the right coaching, don't miss a trick.

Remember, we have another good QB behind Gregory. For Gregory - say he was to get his eye gouged out next time - If that happend, the kid is so tough, he might stuff it back in and keep on playing.

I think we have a bunch of equal quality WR's and same with RB's.  Not sure about our D.  However, our O Line depth is not there.  That is a high injury position, but our second string is not as large/developed as our first.  UF loses an O Line Tackle, puts in a second 315 pounder, and does not miss a beat.  We lose Walt Walker, and they get 5 sacks in two quarters on Grothe (even with his mobility).  So would have to disagree that we have depth in all positions.  Look at FG and Place kicker....  Another good example.

Not complaining, we have some red shirts, and a bunch of young guys who hopefully will develop.  But we also need to get that next level of recruits in the future... That will make a huge difference.

You can't compare UF with our depth.  UF year in and year out are Top 10 in recruiting.  It would be like comparing Texas and Texas Tech.

The biggest thing is that we should have a lot of depth as time goes on in the O line. The average O-Lineman gains about 20 pounds a year in college and we have had to put guys in who are still growing. Once we have a couple more years we can have the beef up front and enough depth to have to start guys that are still growing.

watching the gator/ USC game, it points out what could be in a couple of years.  I still contend one of our weak spots, due to depth, is O Line.  We have a lot of injuries, 4 starters out as of today.   Then you watch the gators, they make holes for Tebow.  We have Grothe.  He is as good just not as big as Tebow.   Our O Line held pretty well the past two weeks, but we lack the size and second string size of the older programs.   I think with UM sucking and FSU sucking, we will pick up some big lineman for future years.....

I played line in high school and am familiar with how important that position is....  The guys did well, and will continue to do fine, but I think we willl improve on the line over the years...  Need some linemen to make the NFL,then we will be talking....

this was the year with 20 returning starters and a favorable home schedule\

our recruiting has stunk
