I would definitely bet on Syracuse with that spread, it's not that I don't have confidence in the Bulls but with the way we've been playing I feel that if we get any kind of lead the coaches will get conservative and just try to hold onto the lead as opposed to running up the score because obviously we have no shot at the national title so there isn't much incentive to run up the score now.

Besides, while Florida Atlantic is a good Sun Belt team we did struggle to beat them on the road and while Syracuse might be worse than Florida Atlantic it certainly isn't by much. If that Carrier Dome gets full it can become a really noisy place, I do have confidence that the Bulls will win but I think we're looking at a close game similar to the FAU game.

If we are 15 1/2 point favorites, take the 'Cuse.  Other than UCF we haven't thrown up a lot of points on the scoreboard.  And the D isn't going to shut them out like they did 2 years ago.

I still think we have a good D. Lets remember, 14 points came off just the blocked punt and INT return so take those away and we held them to 24. We gave them good field position a few times with turnovers also. Our defense stymied Cincinnati in the second half, and kept us in the game. Even Rutgers, while we did give up 30 points there was the fake field goal touchdown and some other lucky plays Rutgers got.

No I don't think our defense will shut out Syracuse, but I definitely think we can win 20-7 or something like that.

1.  We OWN Syracuse

2.  Syracuse is 114th in total offense, if I'm not mistaken

3.  Syracuse is 108th in total defense

4.  They have these abysmal stats against a very weak OOC schedule.

Our players have had no problems getting up for games this season.  It's when they turn the ball over the second, then third time when they start saying "here we go again".  I'm gonna say this:  ALL we gotta do........ is score on the opening drive.  After that, it will be gravy.  Our D is back, and I have a hunch our O will regroup this week.

Huh?  Washington, Iowa, Illinois, Miami and Buffalo is a murderer's row versus Elon, Auburn, UNC, FAU and UCF

Cuse is playing much better the last few weeks....I'd take the points
