If that Carrier Dome gets full it can become a really noisy place, I do have confidence that the Bulls will win but I think we're looking at a close game similar to the FAU game. Other than UCF we haven't thrown up a lot of points on the scoreboard. And the D isn't going to shut them out like they did 2 years ago.

Lets remember, 14 points came off just the blocked punt and INT return so take those away and we held them to 24. We gave them good field position a few times with turnovers also. Our defense stymied Cincinnati in the second half, and kept us in the game. Even Rutgers, while we did give up 30 points there was the fake field goal touchdown and some other lucky plays Rutgers got.No I don't think our defense will shut out Syracuse, but I definitely think we can win 20-7 or something like that. Syracuse is 114th in total offense, if I'm not mistaken3. Syracuse is 108th in total defense4. They have these abysmal stats against a very weak OOC schedule. Our players have had no problems getting up for games this season. It's when they turn the ball over the second, then third time when they start saying "here we go again". I'm gonna say this: ALL we gotta do........ is score on the opening drive. After that, it will be gravy. Our D is back, and I have a hunch our O will regroup this week.
