Why didn't the band travel to RU and UCONN?

I was just wondering why the band did not travel to RU and UCONN but they traveled to Auburn and FAU? Is it a lack of funds?

Maybe it would make our players feel more at home

You pretty much got it.  It would have been really expensive to take the band to the games.  AU and FAU were a drive away.

I would have loved to have the band at RU, our fans were way too quiet.

$$$ only for one road trip and one in-state trip.

Plus, any donations that are being made to HOT goes directly to the uniform fund.  Once that is at zero balance, then donations can go for HOT to travel.

Finally, we need folks like yourself to send a message to Dr. Robinson and AD Woolard asking for the band to go to more of the away games. If there is a legit demand for HOT to be at more away games, then there will always be a way to get it done.

ya...i thought it was lack of funding but wasn't sure.

i attended the uconn game and noticed that not many fans made it....but it definitely would have been a moral booster if the band was playing

our fight song!

Until we get the funds for the band to travel on these roadtrips, I think we should hire a barbershop quartet.

But this Saturday, HOT will be at the game in force.
