TAMPA, Fla. -- The homecoming football game between USF and Cincinnati will be played at 3:30 p.m. Eastern and air regionally on ABC.

ABC picking up the game extends the Bulls streak of consecutive games on the ABC/ESPN body of networks to 16, including the first nine of the 2007.  Within those 16 games, USF has been on ESPN2 four times and on ESPN, ABC, ESPN Regional and ESPNU three times each.

In addition to UC at USF at 3:30p.m., November 3, ABC will also be televising three other games:  UCLA at Arizona, a Big 12 game, either Texas at Oklahoma State or Texas A&M at Oklahoma; and a Big Ten game, either Purdue at Penn State, Michigan at Michigan State, or Wisconsin at Ohio State. The UC-USF game may also be seen on ESPN in some areas where the Big Ten game is on ABC. The Big Ten game often appears on ESPN in those areas where it is not on ABC.

A final coverage map for the game will not be announced until next week, Wednesday at the earliest.

The USF athletic deparment will also put on a fireworks presentation after the game.  The fireworks show will begin approximately 10 minutes after the game and last for 10 to 15 minutes.

The ABC spotlight is fairly new for the Bulls, who have now been on the national network channel on three occasions since the start of the 2006 season.

Times and stations for USF’s final three games against Syracuse (11/10), Louisville (11/17) and Pitt (11/24) have not been announced.

The television determination and time for the Syracuse game will likely be announced this Sunday, Nov. 11.

At least we will get some shade later in the game, although the clocks don't get set ahead until Sunday when we come off daylight savings time.

i would think that it being homecoming they would want a 7pm game time and have the fireworks BEFORE the game. along with other festivities.  i dont expect too many people would stick around AFTER the game.
