I was at the Sun Dome watching the game and couldn't hear the announcers. Did they say how serious TJ's injury was?

They said he was out for the game.  As soon as I saw him leave the field I felt a feeling of doom.

They said it was a shin injury and he would not return.

I like Jessie Hester Jr. a little more. He has been extremely consistent.

Johnson out 2-3 weeks with ankle injury

USF receiver Taurus Johnson, who left Thursday's loss to Rutgers with a sprained ankle in the first quarter, is initially expected to miss 2-3 weeks recovering from the injury.

Starting offensive tackle Walt Walker could also miss time with an injury to his right knee, though the severity of the injury won't likely be known until a magnetic resonance imaging exam can be given. USF assistant athletic director Chris Freet said the injury "could be serious," and Walker needed help as he walked to USF's locker room after the game.

USF gave up five of its seven sacks after Walker left the game. Senior Jared Carnes replaced him in the lineup for the Bulls.
