Cory Grissom comments on South Florida verbal

Defensive tackle Cory Grissom spoke with the LaGrange Daily News about his recent commitment to the Bulls.

He said, "They've got a good football program down there. They've got a good defense, good coaches. They're a top-10 team right now. Additionally, Grissom described the experience of his visit to South Florida as "amazing."

...and you get clowns wearing flags on their head to the admiration of their fellow scribblers...

I'm pretty excited about this year's class, especially if we can keep the momentum up.  All this attention has got to help.

We just got some tape of him sent to Scout.com. He hasn't been rated yet but the Staff knows what they are looking for in a player.

No stars...

After what the coaches have done the last 11 years I'll never judge our recruiting class by the number of stars (Maybe a little).  I trust in what the coaches find.  THey have truly done a wonderful job year in and year out.

Go Bulls!

Stars or no stars, the debate rages.  :D

What you have to like about Grissom is that he is around 270 already.  Our staff has always favored quick D-linemen over size so that tells me that he moves well at that size.  McClain last year was around 290 as was Garrison, and we are after a few others who are in that 290 range this year.  If we get guys that size that can move in the middle we will be hard to beat by running up the gut.

Khyrie Thornton.  A DT out of Panama City (I think).  Kid is 6'4" and 290.  Also played FB last year at near that size.
