well, in some pollsters' minds, there's a difference between being a top 5 team and earning the right to be ranked in the top 5. i think that's Herbstreit's mentality.

This is totally surprising to me but I am happy for the team to dodge a bullet there with the FAU game.  Now they need to go out and prove themselves because the next few games are going to be extremely rough.
