And its a shame....they have games against Akron and Virginia which they should win both ans sadly be bowl eligible and one slip up by anyone else and they are 7-5 if they beat the Cuse.

They should have lost to Temple if not for a blown call in the end zone. They could lose to anybody on any given Saturday

They played very well against Pitt.  If they make a bowl, they earned it.  Heck, we only got 6 wins our first time, and only one of those was a hard win (Louisville).

Which brings me to my next point: Pitt has fallen HARD.  Marino cannot be proud!

As an added bonus, Notre Dame won't be around to hog up one of the Big East's bowl tie-ins this year. So good for UConn, if they qualify. Toronto is nice that time of year.

UConn is perfect for Toronto.  I think they had Syracuse and UConn in mind when they started this bowl game.
