Guys, the AP poll means nothing any more.  Worry about the coaches poll that is 1/3 of the BCS rankings.  The AP poll is now a beauty pageant that only gets you exposure, but means nothing in regards to getting to a BCS bowl.

The AP poll does mean something. It still has the distinguished honor of naming the national champion. Whoever is number 1 in the AP poll is the national champion despite what happens in the BCS. USC was crowned AP national champions in 2003, despite not being in the BCS championship.

USF should be ahead of Hawaii, Texas A&M, and Georgia and really they should be ahead of Tennessee too but there is no way USF should be any lower than 23 right now.

With that said, you guys should be happy that the Bulls are ranked ahead of some storied programs. We are only in year 11 of the program, yet USF is ranked ahead of teams like Florida State, and Alabama. I think that is the ultimate testament to how far we've come, and the fact we're still upset even after being ranked ahead of those teams proves it even further.

USF beats #17 1-0 Auburn and moves from #35 - #26.
