This was on the AP wire:

¶  KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Tackle Ramiro Pruneda, who was introduced at a news conference when signed out of the Mexican collegiate leagues last spring, was one of five players released Thursday by the Kansas City Chiefs.

¶  Coach Herm Edwards said three weeks ago at training camp that the 300-pound Pruneda was working hard but having trouble catching up with players with more experience.

¶  Also released were wide receiver Titus Ryan, cornerback Marcus Maxey, tight end Mike Pinkard and defensive end Chris Harris. Wide receiver Rod Gardner had his contract terminated.

He should be able to make the team as a KR/PR. He can develop his WR skills more as he goes along.

he would be a great fit in KC, specially since he fits the mold of a dante hall type player.

They still have 10 WRs but Ean is listed as #1 among punt returners and eighth among WRs.

Too bad the Chiefs defense is so bad that Ean doesn't get many opportunities to run back punts.

In the couple of games I saw him play, He looked pretty good. Had a few good returns. However, since he is playing with the 3rd team QB, he is not getting enough balls thrown his way. The 1 catch he had against Miami was a screen pass he turned into a 12 yard gain. I think he makes the team. On another note.....Does anybody have any word on how Andre Hall is doing in Denver? Just curious...

if ean makes the team it will be because of his return abilities and not his play at WR.  so i am not too concerned about him being in there against 3rd strings.  KC has been known to keep 6 or 7 WRs.  I am just worried about Preist Holmes.  If he gets healthy then KC will give him a roster spot as kind of "good gesture" type thing which might take away Ean's chances of making the team.

as for Andre, he hasnt gotten 1 carry all preseason so it doesnt look like he is going to make any kind of roster.  hopefully he can stick around on a practice squad or get another chance
