  1. Ya'll got two threads on this ... I mentioned on the other one that Carlton Mitchell is running track this spring, but I also failed to mention that Ryan Gilliam is also running track this spring. But ya'll probably already know that ...
  2. Carlton Mitchell is also running track this spring ... and Leavitt, didn't seem all to concerned for Mike Ford's time. As a matter of fact, he thought 4.66 was "pretty darn good" for his size and weight ...
  3. I am I being claimed of being libel with Addy? Good one, Wags. It's good to see a good student athlete response on this site. Keep up the good work, Wags, and from what I hear, you're a great story. Mind telling it to me one day?
  4. Though Tony might post something later himself, he told me today that the book is available online for purchase through his website, at a couple of local book stores, and for those on campus, it will be available in the USF bookstore, Tony is hoping, March 19. That's the Monday when students get back from Spring Break. I hope to read it and get something in the Oracle about A Raging Bull as soon as I can ...
  5. But r to the izzo and Mag are right ... there were players were hats and shirts with colors and logos very, very similar to that of UF's. As a matter of fact, someone came to the pressbox to say LaPorta was with them, which led to me checking ... No dice. Sorry to burst the rivalry/conspiracy bubble here ...
  6. LaPorta was definitely not among them, and I am 99.9 percent sure it wasn't Florida players due to game time reasons stated in earlier posts ...
  7. She looked great as Jane Spencer in Naked Gun, the movie with one of the best, and funniest, baseball scenes ever. Well, it's really more of a spoof, I guess ...
  8. Gurly, Thanks for reading, and to anyone else who reads the Oracle.
  9. Jim, I'm sure you would be one of the people Fernandez would be happy with. Gurly, Thanks for the props, if I may be so bold to call it that. I'm sure that you could have as well, but myself and Greg Auman literally hand counted the fan side of the Sun Dome. Fernandez has complained about lack of fans at games, but has never been as vocal as he was last night, at least, not on the record.
  10. Jim, The overtime game with Connecticut in Storrs was during the 2004-05 season, in the good ol' C-USA days. And if I remember correctly, Anedra Gilmore hit the game-tying three-pointer. Not calling you out, just letting stating the facts. Last season at Storrs, it was a little uglier: 77-47 loss.
  11. FYI guys: Matthis' block was No. 3 on the Top Plays on ESPNews. Haven't seen what SportsCenter thinks yet though.
