I'm not sure this is the correct board for this, but, IF you live in Hillsborough County, AND your involved with childrens sports, GET READY!

We met last night with county parks and rec officials and the bottom line is ALL youth sports are losing county funding. Your individual leagues will be responsible for all maintenance at your park, even though the county still owns them and anyone can use the facility.

Your league will be responsible for scheduling and PAYING for all umpires and officiating crews.

Need new clay on your field? As of Jan. 1st. -  GO BUY IT.

Field maintainence, including fertilizer, insecticides, chalk for lining your fields, ALL your responsibility.

Oh, this applies to the adult sports leagues also.

You might want to chat with your county commisioner.

I forgot one

JIM NORMAN wants to SPEND $40,000,000.00 to build a private park somewhere out in the country!

HE says we can use tax money to fund it.
