Cant wait to watch the man I watched growing up solidify himself as the best power hitter and the most feared hitter of all time.

Screw the critics, I dont care how he treats the media and people, to me Barry was an still is the most exciting baseball player to ever watch.

Steroid freak continues to suck up money as the Giants sit in the cellar with record worse than the Devil Rays, what a farce.

Of the 749 homeruns Barry has hit, I wonder how many were off of pitchers who were on steroids as well? hmmm

way more guys than you think were doing roids in that era.  Everyone just hates on Barry because he is the best.

No, everyone hates Barry because he is an a$$hole and a cheat.

There are other a$$hole cheats out there I dislike just as much.

In the spectrum of players we have:

good guy{----------------------------------}*****

clean{----------------------------------}cheat

talented{--------------------------------}sucks

Here is Barry:

good guy{---------------------------------*}*****

clean{----------------------------------*}cheat

talented{*--------------------------------}sucks

No doubting the talent... but the other two dillute any talent he has.

Others

Sosa

good guy{---*-------------------------------}*****

clean{----------------------------------*}cheat

talented{------*--------------------------}sucks

McGwire

good guy{---*-------------------------------}*****

clean{----------------------------------*}cheat

talented{-------*-------------------------}sucks

Cal Ripken, Jr.

good guy{*----------------------------------}*****

clean{*----------------------------------}cheat

talented{--*------------------------------}sucks

Griffey Jr

good guy{*----------------------------------}*****

clean{*----------------------------------}cheat

talented{*--------------------------------}sucks

Griffey is the prototype of what a true baseball player should be.

Barroid COULD have been that type of player, if he wanted to... but his greed got the best of him and he let his natural aholeness come through.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
