im usually not one to get all excited over 'highlight" clips...cause, come on, t hey are supposed to be good...

but that run he has at about 40 seconds into it is just WWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW

another thing that i noticed is his size and balance compared to the DL, OL, LB,

breaking tackles in high school isnt very impressive, but the other things he brings to the table are pretty amazing.

I've been meaning to add my two cents on mike ford. In the video I noticed that ford has great vision at the line of scrimmage. This guy was getting no help from his OL. Everytime the ball was snapped, 2-3 players were already in the backfield.

After watching him the spring game, his running style reminds me of a Larry Johnson.

If you watch the spring game, you'll notice that he often runs on the back of his blocker with his hand on their back allowing the lineman to set up a block...especially on pulls. He loves to bounce runs to the outside.

How much work will Grothe actually get against Elon when we have Samuels, Ford, Ponton, Cannon, and Williams vying for the starting spot....hell I might as well put Richard Kelly and Tyson Butler in the mix as well (unless they're redshirting)
