Another great product of the Jacksonville area. I knew his brother, Chet, in his years at Nease taking them to their state title in basketball. I hope Ted lands at a good school because it appears he has the credentials to be amazing!

JoeB, if Rainey and crew were on Plant High's team then yes but I was under the impression that Marve was the QB for Plant this past year. Nease played Plant High for the state title in 2006.

Stachitis took his team to the state final and lost to Robert Marve and Plant High School.

6'4 195????

Did you get those measurments while he was standing on phone books??

Oh, he's also not 195 pounds.  He has very nice numbers, no need to inflate his height and weight.  ;)

My bad. I was drinking at the time while I posted that. I guess I couldn't read or type correctly at the time.  ;D

I don't see anywhere that says he's interested in USF.

Right.  Nease played Plant.  Lakeland played St. Thomas.  Got them confused.  Regardless, I believe his brother played hoops with Jameer Nelson at St. Joe's.  He was on that really good team that went undefeated in the regular season, and then lost in the Elite 8 on a 30 footer by John Lucas' kid at Oklahoma State.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
