I could really care less.  Even if he didn't use steroids, with the parks being smaller, the pitcher's mound lower, the ball livelier, and the strike zone smaller, his stats are inflated.

you are leaving out all the other stuff that he has to face that ruth or aaron didnt.

advanced scouting, intentional walks (aaron hardly ever got pitched around), so many different pitchers, lefty on lefty specialist, and he plays in one of the toughest parks for lefties to hit homeruns in.

bonds is the best hitter of the past 30 years.

You're forgetting the death threats, the racial comments during the games, etc.
