LACROSSE. I stopped by the USF vs. Saleem game today and it was pretty dang exciting! I've never seen a Lacrosse game before and, if I am not mistake, we lost in overtime. Anyone know anything else about the team? I know it's a club sport. I'd love to find a schedule for future games.

One of my suitemates plays on the team. They are going through the "growing pains" of becoming a real club team and not just a pick-up game group. If they keep it together, they will be good.

Your guess is as good as mine. Father of one of the players next to me was explaining to some other guy and that's the word he used... "varsity."

With Title IX dominating the collegiate athletic landscape right now...its almost impossible to add MEN'S sports to the scholarship level.

UCF use to have a collegiate scholarship wrestling program...which was lost to Title IX.

Rutgers just slashed a ton of Men's sports programs.

LAX is taking off at the FLA HS level...and more and more good LAX players will be coming out of FLA (vs just the "Northeast" where LAX is huge), but its highly doubtful that they will ever be able to reach a scholarship level at a FLA University because of Title IX.

Title IX is a sham. Same as affirmative action.

It's the reason the men's cross country team has the minimum amount of member to have a team, while the women have 4x that many.
