basketball, maybe we need a new athletic director to plan improvements and create a better atmosphere. Fire Wollard.

Woolard has done tons of good. CRM is Leeroy's mess. I do think the only mistake Woolard has made was keeping CRM and not going after Huggins. That being said what Doug has done for football is amazing. We are getting BCS teams to sign 1 for 1's with us.

Base ball looks as if it is going in the right direction, still a little early to make a real judgement.

True, but I haven't seen this kind of excitment for baseball in a long time.  Between the new energy to the recruiting, it's been quite a change.

smazza,

Give me a good reason to fire Wollard.  Come up with something on your own.

Could it be the 1 for 1s with Miami, North Carolina, etc.?

Maybe the hiring of Lelo Prado?

What about retaining our successful football coach?

If all you've got is that he hasn't fired RMC, then you've really got nothing.

Good grief how things taken on a life...Huggins was never a real option, and that's a fact, so that can't really be blamed on Woolard either.

Woolard's done an amazing, unbelievable job...things like iron bulls, football improvements, facility improvements, better staffing, better implimentation...the guy is top notch.

If you're talking about the hoops mess at USF, well someone summarized it best, if Lee Rose couldn't win here...sorry but it's going to take time regardless who is brought in to right the ship.  That's the painful truth, only Lee Rose came in and was almost instantly successful, but Paschal had three straight seasons of 6-8 wins, Greenberg two, Lee Rose was barely above .500 a guy with two Final Fours, and tons of big wins.   It takes time to build the infrastructure, and improvements to make a program Big East caliber.  Also, it's impossible for anyone to buy or replicate things that many of our conference brethren have like Final Four appearances, NBA legends, legendary coaches, and tons of awards.  It almost is going to take a little luck as well as tons of commitment from fans and alum.

If we wanted Huggins we could have gotten him.
