I though it was 200K/yr... not 400k/yr.

He also gets like 50k for his TV show… I think.

Ty, where did you get the 400k figure... from the radio?

Plus this years improvement was 5 wins

Did the team improve or did the non-conf schedule get much easier this year as compared to last year?

Last year...USF played Iowa St and Oregon St in Hawaii...plus Michigan and a very good UAB team.

This year....USF played a down UAB team, a very down Wake Forest team, plus almost any historical black college that needed a game (South Carolina St, Winston Salem St, Norfolk St, Bethune Cookman), and the every laughable East Carolina squad.

Scheduling has a lot to do with overall wins/losses, especially in Hoops...but didn't USF win 2 or 3 more BE games this year vs last year...and was that enough to save RMC's job?

That should be and might be the question...but does Woolard want to pay someone TWO YEARS worth of a contract for NOT Coaching...and have to hire someone at a much higher pay-scale to replace said coach?

That's the $64,000 question. (Actually, it probably will come out to about a $2-$3 Million question when its all said and done with).

PS. One might find similar scheduling philosophies this year with USF and UCF Hoop Coaches...who both knew they would be on the hot seat this year.

Non-conf wins are nice...but AD's know its about what you do in-conference that counts (and also other things such as recruiting, grades, attendance, etc...).

You moron. UNLV and MSU this year are both better than ISU and OSU last year. The ooc schedule this year was right in line with last year's. Keep exhibiting your limited knowledge of college hoops. [smiley=loser.gif]
