Tampa, FLA. (Feb. 19, 2007) – The University of South Florida has decided that in the best interest of the University and the men's basketball program a certain number of USF fans will be fired today. The official list of names will be released later this afternoon.

"We had to make this move," Athletic Director Doug Woolard commented. "We just need to find better fans."

fire fans bc they dont accept losing? I still support the team but dont accept that we are losing. should i be fired? how stupid

There are many so-called fans that have failed to support the team in any capacity this season.  They may profess to supporting the team, but their actions on this message board alone show that to be hot air.  Glad to see that I'm not the only one disgusted by the behavior of these so-called fans.
